The Northern Lights Society of Minnesota, abbreviated as, is more than a traditional non profit organization. With each passing year, its experience and momentum improves and widens its unique concept.

NLS essentially aims to promote dialogue, understanding, tolerance and thus peace for our communities by creating respectful and welcoming settings for the exchange of ideas and social interaction.As a way to accomplish this fundamental goal NLS provides an environment of dialogue among various cultures and faith groups. Intercultural and interfaith dialogue, NLS maintains, is essential in establishing healthy links of ommunication among various groups which are otherwise unconnected and as a result more prone to misunderstandings and misjudgments.
